Bruno #5 | 1 Year Old Chihuahua Mix | Tiny Dancer with a Big Heart
If you're looking for a sweet, silly sidekick to brighten your days, Bruno may just be your perfect match. This adorable little guy is equal parts playful, cuddly, and charming. Whether he's prancing around the house, showing off his happy dance moves, or resting his head in your lap for snuggles, Bruno has a way of making everyone around him smile. Bruno is a medium-energy pup who enjoys going for walks and loves spending time with his canine friends. In fact, having another playful dog in the home is at the top of Bruno's wish list. He absolutely adores his foster sisters and would thrive in a home with a dog companion of similar size and energy level to play with, learn from, and build confidence alongside. While Bruno can be a bit shy and skittish around sudden movements or loud noises, he is incredibly sweet, gentle, and eager to connect with his people. He has no preference when it comes to humans and happily shares his affection with everyone he meets. Food and affection are the quickest ways to Bruno's heart. He hasn't shown much interest in toys just yet, but belly rubs, cuddles, tasty treats, and playtime with dog friends are all favorites. Bruno is truly the sweetest, silliest little dude, and he is ready to find a forever family that will give him the love, patience, and canine companionship he deserves.
Ideal Home
Bruno would thrive in a home with another playful dog of similar size and energy level. He can be sensitive to quick movements and loud noises, so a home with respectful children who understand this would be ideal, though he has not yet met children.
Ongoing Health
Bruno is currently dealing with some itchy skin and hair loss. He is taking Zyrtec, which seems to be helping.
Training & Support
Bruno already knows "sit," is making progress with house training, and is learning household boundaries. Like many young dogs, he occasionally believes every snack in the house belongs to him, so continued training and structure will help him polish his manners. He does well when left home alone with other dogs and settles in nicely after a little initial whining.
