Meet Oreo! This sweet 7-year-old lady is a true survivor, originally from a high-kill shelter in Houston. Despite her unknown past, she's clearly been well-loved, as she's super healthy and well-trained. We were able to rescue her at the last minute, and now she's ready to find her forever family!

Oreo is the ultimate co-pilot, loving car rides and ready for any adventure. She's potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and has a wonderful balance of playful and chill. She enjoys bursts of energy zooming around the yard but is equally content lounging nearby, soaking up your company. Her gentle, loving nature shines through, especially when she flops over for belly rubs!

Ideal Home

Oreo would thrive in a variety of homes. She currently lives with dogs and cats and gets along well with them, but she prefers calm companions and isn't a fan of overly energetic dogs. Her ideal evening involves a relaxed walk followed by curling up on the couch for quality downtime.

Ongoing Health

Oreo is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, on prevention, and heartworm negative. She is a healthy middle-aged gal.

Training & Support

Oreo is potty trained and walks well on a leash. She politely lets other dogs know to tone it down if they are too energetic.
