Walker

Walker is a truly special boy who embodies all the best qualities of man's best friend. With a heart as big as his playful spirit, he is affectionate, brave, curious, friendly, funny, smart, and always up for a good time. Walker loves toys and will happily play with any toy you put in front of him. He is a quick learner and always eager to explore and discover new things. Walker is the epitome of a loyal companion and will bring endless love, laughter, and joy to his forever family. This sweet boy was found laying on the side of the road with most of his fur missing and was absolutely covered in flea and fire ant bits. He was so very pitiful, and was just lying there waiting for someone to notice him. Walker is that special pup that loves to be with his humans but he can also entertain himself. He is an excellent sleeper and prefers his bed to be on the rug beside your bed. He stays in a foster home where he gets along well with dogs of all sizes as well as cats.

Ideal Home

Walker would love a home where he can be with his humans, but he is also happy to entertain himself.

Ongoing Health

Walker was found with significant skin issues, but has been treated and is recovering well.

Training & Support

Walker is a quick learner and eager to explore new things. He is described as an excellent sleeper and enjoys his bed.

Transportation

Walker is currently in a foster home in South Mississippi. He can be transported to VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT, and NY. Transport is available every 2-3 weeks and is included in the adoption fee.
