Cami is a sweet-natured, shy girl who has just celebrated her first birthday. This possibly Terrier/Lab mix weighs around 30-35 pounds and is looking for a very patient and loving home where she can feel safe and cherished. She's a special case, and while she has a wonderful disposition, she has regressed into her shell a bit since her sister was adopted. Cami truly shines when she's around other dogs, and it's evident that she would thrive in a home with another playful canine companion. She also enjoys one-on-one attention. To help her feel most secure, a quiet environment is ideal.
Ideal Home
Cami would do best in a quiet home with a fenced yard, as she may be a flight risk while she's learning to trust her new family. If children are present, they should be over 14 years old. A home with another playful dog would be wonderful for Cami.
Ongoing Health
Cami is spayed, vaccinated (DHLPPx3, Bordetella and Rabies), has been dewormed, and is on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. A health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport.
Training & Support
Cami needs work on leash walking and is not yet housebroken. However, she does not go to the bathroom in her crate at night. Her new family will need to be patient as she builds confidence and learns to trust.
