Hank Jones

Hank Jones is an 8-year-old, 67 lb male Cattle Dog/Retriever mix with a heart full of love to give. Hank's world turned upside down when his beloved mom passed away, but thankfully, a caring foster family stepped in to provide him comfort and support. He previously lived with children, cats, other dogs, and even chickens, and he got along wonderfully with everyone. While he's currently sharing a home with a feline friend, it seems they're not quite a match, so Hank is dreaming of a new place to call his own. He's mastered basic obedience and is a pleasant companion on walks. Hank has embraced a healthier lifestyle, shedding some extra weight and feeling more energetic. Though he still has a spring in his step, his biggest desire is a cozy bed and a lifetime of affection. The love from a senior pup is truly special, and we hope Hank finds a family who will cherish him.

Ideal Home

Hank would love a home with a cozy bed and lots of love. He has previously done well with children, cats, other dogs, and chickens.

Ongoing Health

Hank will be neutered shortly before transport. His adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), spay/neuter, and microchip.

Training & Support

Hank has learned basic obedience and walks well on a leash.

Transporation

Hank is currently located in South Texas. He can be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and other states on the East and West Coast.
