Vino

Vino is a 52-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a heart of gold, even if he puts up a bit of a tough front at first. He was found abandoned at a store and brought to us for a second chance. Vino can be a little vocal when he's nervous or unsure, but with some gentle reassurance and tasty treats, he quickly settles down. He's a moderate energy kind of guy who's looking for a patient and understanding family to show him the ropes.

Ideal Home

Vino is cautious with new doggy friends and can be assertive when interacting. We're not sure how he is with children, so a home that can help him learn to navigate new social situations would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Vino is vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, and has had flea treatment. He has also been sterilized.

Training & Support

Vino can be vocal when nervous or scared, but responds well to gentle reassurance and treats. A patient adopter who can help him build confidence will be key to his success.
