Meet Eziah, a resilient 3-year-old Terrier/Yorkie mix who weighs in at a petite 18 pounds. Eziah is a dog with a big heart and an even bigger capacity for love, despite a past filled with hardship. He was rescued just in time, arriving in our care severely matted, with scabbing and open wounds. It's evident he suffered neglect, yet through it all, Eziah remained remarkably sweet and gentle with those who helped him. After extensive grooming and medical attention, he's healing wonderfully and starting to feel comfortable and safe. His skin is still recovering, and he'll need a patient and caring family to help him continue to heal and regain his strength. Eziah is a happy, affectionate boy who enjoys the company of other dogs, which helps him feel more confident as he adjusts to his new, safe life.
Ideal Home
Eziah is looking for a loving home that understands his need for gentle care, patience, and stability as he continues to heal and blossom. He thrives with canine companionship and does well with other dogs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
Ongoing Health
Eziah's skin is still recovering from his past neglect. He will need ongoing gentle care and patience as his scabs heal and his body rebuilds its strength.
