I'm JJ, a gentle and sympathetic pup with the body of a German Shepherd, the sweetness of a Pittie, and the face of a Vizsla. I'm a goofy, gangly puppy who just wants to make you happy! I may have come from New Mexico, but I've really embraced the white stuff here – I love to lay in it and chew on sticks! I'm learning that outside is for more than just eating sticks; I'm a good girl who whines when I need to go out. I don't mind my kennel, but I do prefer to be with you. If you give me something to chew on, I'll settle down for a nap. It takes me a little time to warm up to new people, but once I do, I give the sweetest kisses! The big, hairy guy at home used to make me nervous, but with the love, treats, and pets he gives me, I'm starting to like him as much as the lady of the house. A confident resident pup has helped me realize that humans are pretty great, and I hope to show a pup the ropes someday! With a little more confidence, I know I'll do great. I absolutely LOVE to play and romp around outside, and my zoomies after doing my business are apparently hilarious! When I'm proud of myself, I like to show it by high-stepping like a horse, and I can sound like one too! Now, I just need to find my forever family. Ideal Home
A home where I can receive gentle guidance and reassurance as I build confidence. I do get nervous around larger, unfamiliar dogs sometimes, but I am learning to warm up with the help of my foster family's resident pup.
