When she first arrived, she ran right up with a wagging tail and a huge smile, showering everyone with affection. Lex plays hard with other dogs, but she's incredibly considerate and good at reading vibes, especially with confident female playmates. She'd likely do great in a home with males or females, but she seems to have a special connection with the ladies! Prepare for endless fun and playtime. Lex is a Pitbull Cattle Dog mix with beautiful cattle spotting and adorable pointed ears, weighing in at 56lbs of pure happiness.
Ideal Home
Lex needs a home with a yard and an active owner who is familiar with the energy and spirit of cattle dogs. She is definitely a wild child and would bring immense joy to the right family. While Lex hasn't been officially tested with children, her loving nature suggests she'd adore them. We recommend an older child who can handle her enthusiastic play style. Cats are a definite no for Lex, as her excitement could be overwhelming for feline friends.

Lex is currently located in the Houston area. We can provide nationwide transport through our rescue's USDA-certified system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
