Lucy

Lucy is a beautiful, sweet, and gentle lady with an estimated birthday of 8 years young and weighing around 75 lbs. She's a smart girl who knows some commands and enjoys walks on leash, especially when there are no other dogs around. Lucy is incredibly gentle, particularly when taking treats, and she absolutely loves car rides and playing fetch! She's also great with kids, though due to her size, a home with children over 5 would be ideal.

Ideal Home

Lucy is looking for a home where she can hang out with her people, either indoors or in a fenced yard. She's still an active girl who loves to chase squirrels and go on long hikes, so a yard for her to roam in is a must. She would thrive as an only dog, or she could live with an older, quieter dog after a slow introduction.

Ongoing Health

Lucy has been diagnosed with heartworm. Information about heartworm can be found at webmd.com. Her adoption fee covers her heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Lucy will need a refresher on house-training. We strongly recommend enrolling all new adopters into obedience training to help with a smooth transition into her new home, ensure she remains well-socialized, and strengthen the bond between you.
