Trooper

Trooper is a handsome 2 1/2-year-old, 60-pound boy with a heart as gentle as they come. He's the epitome of a loyal companion, content to simply be by your side, whether you're napping or just moving from room to room. Trooper is incredibly smart and well-behaved; he's house-trained, kennel-trained, and doesn't shed. He already knows several commands, walks beautifully on a leash, and enjoys calm car rides. Trooper thrives on kindness and consistency, and his greatest desire is to feel safe and loved with his family. He enjoys cozy naps, quiet patio time, and gentle playtime.

Ideal Home

Trooper would do best in a home where he won't be left alone for long hours, as he experiences separation anxiety. He would love a family that desires a true companion to share their life with. He has done well with other dogs and ignores barking dogs on walks, showing good redirection skills.

Trooper is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to go to his forever home.

Transporation

Trooper is currently located at our Rescue Ranch near Houston, TX. He can be transported to a location near you. Transport occurs once a month via climate-controlled vans with a team of drivers. You will be included in a group chat to track your dog's journey and receive updates on their estimated arrival time.
