Stella

Stella is an 11-year-old girl with a heart full of love to give! She was adopted as a puppy in 2014 and has been a cherished member of her family ever since. Sadly, Stella's mom is experiencing some health issues and will be moving into a nursing home. Her family is heartbroken but prioritizing Stella's well-being. Because Stella is an ABLAR alumni, we are stepping up to help her and her mom during this difficult time. Stella is house, leash, and crate trained, and she's a super sweet and loving companion. She weighs approximately 50 lbs and still has plenty of pep in her step, enjoying her squeaky toys. While she's been the only pet in her home, she does get along with other dog-friendly dogs. Unfortunately, cats are not a good match for Stella. She's used to having a fenced yard, but it's not a requirement as she's happily leash-trained. We urgently need a foster home for Stella!

Ideal Home

Stella would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of love and attention. She is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Stella is spayed and vaccinated.

Stella is house, leash, and crate trained and knows basic commands.

Stella is located in Morganton, NC. We try to limit our travel time for home visits to a two-hour driving range (about 75 miles) from Morganton, NC.
