About Walter Fitzgerald

Walter is the epitome of cool, calm, and collected! This handsome social butterfly is a master of leash walking and brings chill vibes only to his home. He's the perfect companion, happy to be your shadow or simply coexist while you work. Walter has a magical balance, knowing when to play and when to relax and watch the world go by. His emotional intelligence is remarkable; he can read the room and other dogs with ease. We believe he's a German Shepherd Mix, a perfectly sized blend of handsome with a sturdy, athletic build ideal for adventures and cuddles. He's a medium-sized dog, big enough for walks but compact enough for sofa snuggles.

Ideal Home

Walter is looking for a feline-free sanctuary, as cats are a little too exciting for his taste. He'd prefer to focus his love and attention on his humans and canine pals. He is very adaptable and will fit in whether you have a large backyard or a cozy city apartment, as he is a pro on leash and doesn't require a huge yard to be happy.

Ongoing Health

Walter is a healthy dog. His adoption fee includes all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and a microchip.

Training & Support

Walter is already crate trained and potty trained, making his transition to your home a breeze. He is a dream in the car and a perfect gentleman in his crate, even with activity around him. He is also dog-social and fantastic at reading other dogs' body language. He would do best with a medium-energy dog sibling who enjoys playtime but also appreciates naps.
