Rocky is a friendly, sweet, and easy-going 6-year-old, 90 lb pit bull mix. He was rescued from Houston, TX, where he was found abandoned, hungry, and in need of help. Despite his past struggles, Rocky is a well-behaved dog who enjoys leisurely walks on a leash and is crate and house-trained. He loves to relax indoors. Rocky is good with cats and generally gets along well with large dogs, especially females. He needs a home that can provide him with the activity and companionship he desires.

Ideal Home

Rocky would thrive in a home where he can be a cherished best friend. He needs someone who has the time to take him on walks, which he truly enjoys. Rocky can be protective of his food due to his past experiences of scarcity, so he should always have his own designated bowl and food.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is neutered, vaccinated, and tested HWN (Heartworm Negative).

Training & Support

Rocky is already crate-trained and house-trained. The only specific behavior to manage is his food protection, ensuring he has his own space and bowl for meals. He would benefit from more activity than his current caregiver can provide.
