Bear Buddy Heart

Bear is a handsome, people-loving guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He's estimated to be a little over a year old and weighs about 60 lbs. Bear is a curious and enthusiastic companion who is eager to learn and engage with his people. He's already house and crate trained, and his treat-motivated nature makes him a joy to train. Bear loves to be involved in whatever you're doing, whether it's actively participating or just lounging nearby.

Ideal Home

Bear would thrive in a home that can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and consistent, clear guidance. He'll do best with a confident, calm, larger female dog who won't be overwhelmed by his playful energy. A dog-savvy, confident cat and slow introductions are essential for a peaceful feline coexistence.

Training & Support

Bear is still in his puppy stages and needs continued guidance on leash manners, especially around other dogs. While he can get a little too enthusiastic during play with other dogs, he learns quickly and respects boundaries once he understands them. With structure, proper introductions, and the right dog match, he'll be a wonderful playmate.

Bear is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT).
