Stetson Kevin

Meet Stetson Kevin, a curious and energetic German Shepherd mix with a heart full of potential! Stetson Kevin can be a bit shy in new situations and may startle easily, but with a little patience and positive reinforcement, he's shown he gains confidence quickly. He's still learning the ropes of house training and redirection, preferring to investigate his surroundings over immediate obedience. While he's still working on his manners, he's a gentle soul who tends to jump up when meeting new people, and he's learning to approach other dogs with more confidence, even initiating play!

Ideal Home

Stetson Kevin would do best in a home with children around 10 years old, introduced on a case-by-case basis. He can also do well with other dogs, also on a case-by-case basis.

Ongoing Health

Stetson Kevin will be neutered before his adoption is finalized, on or after July 11, 2026.

Training & Support

Stetson Kevin is still working on house training and redirection. He is more prone to investigation than listening when redirected, and he tends to jump up gently when meeting new people. He is also still building his confidence when approaching other dogs and sometimes plays a bit too roughly by pawing at their muzzles.

Transportation

Stetson Kevin is located at the Lycoming County SPCA in Williamsport, PA. Transportation may be available to approved adopters.
