Meet Kodiak, the ultimate gentle giant! This 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix is a massive, living teddy bear ready to wrap you in hugs. Kodiak arrived at our rescue after his previous owner passed away. He's an absolute social butterfly who adores people and is good with dogs when introduced properly and with respect for his boundaries. Kodiak has lived with both cats and dogs of various sizes, showcasing his adaptability! He is fantastic with older children who understand and respect his boundaries. Kodiak has plenty of energy and will need an active family dedicated to providing him with daily walks, playtime, and lots of mental enrichment.

Kodiak would thrive in an active home with an engaged family. He has shown "resource guarding" with other dogs at the rescue, so a home that understands the importance of structure and routine will help him feel secure with his toys, space, and treats, even around other canine friends.
