Meet Alaska! This gorgeous boy is approximately 4 years old and weighs about 45 pounds. He found himself in a tough situation when he arrived at a high-kill shelter in Houston, Texas. Thankfully, Alaska is heartworm negative and is learning what love and life are all about. He's getting used to being around other dogs, but slow introductions are a must. His foster family has been working with him on the basics, including potty training and some simple commands. Now, Alaska is ready to show off his new skills and start his next chapter with a loving family. Could that be you?
