Bullseye

Bullseye is a 6.5-month-old, male Retriever/Pit Bull mix who currently weighs 40 pounds and is expected to be a large dog when fully grown. He's a gentle and thoughtful pup with a calm presence, often observing before joining in the fun. He loves dinnertime, belly rubs, and snuggling with his people, but he also enjoys romping and playing with his siblings. Rescued from the woods with his mom and littermates, Bullseye has grown up loved and cared for. He's potty trained and enjoys playing with other dogs. He has also been introduced to crate training and is working on his leash walking and basic obedience skills.

Ideal Home

Bullseye would thrive in a home that can provide ongoing positive reinforcement, consistency, and continued leash practice. We prefer homes with another friendly, well-mannered dog to help mentor him. Due to his age, we also prefer homes where someone isn't routinely away for more than four to six hours at a time.

Training & Support

Bullseye is potty trained but may have occasional accidents as he adjusts to a new routine. He is continuing to build confidence with leash walking and basic obedience. Ongoing socialization with safe, positive experiences is important.
