Meet Lainey, a beautiful girl with a heart and soul bigger than her body! Lainey was found as a stray in November 2025 and is estimated to be around three years old. She has bloomed under her foster's care, transforming into a true "house hippo" who loves to nap with her stuffed animals and enjoys occasional zoomies with a chew bone. Lainey is incredibly affectionate, follows her foster family around, and adores children, especially little ones. She's also been dog and cat friendly, enjoys leisurely walks, and is a very quiet companion. Potty training has been successful, with no accidents for a long time!
Ideal Home
Lainey would prefer a home with calmer pets, as she can become nervous around loud or energetic dogs and might try to hide. Loud noises or toddler tantrums do not faze her.
Ongoing Health
Lainey is currently heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment, which is fully covered by Mutts N Such Rescue. A health exam will be completed by a veterinarian within 10 days of adoption.
Training & Support
Lainey is a quiet girl who rarely barks and has mastered potty training. She walks beautifully on a leash without pulling.
