Meet Ozzy – a beautiful, happy, and sweet boy puppy! We just love his fluffy black coat and his zest for life. He's estimated to be around 1.5 months old and currently weighs about 5.5 lbs. Ozzy is a mix of Labrador Retriever and Shepherd, and we expect him to grow into a medium-large dog, between 40-60+ lbs.

Ozzy has a wonderful personality. He loves to play and explore, but he also enjoys his nap time and being cuddled like a baby. He's showing signs of being a smart pup who is eager to bond with his new family. He's been socialized with his siblings and is a gentle explorer. Ozzy and his siblings were rescued in Isabela, Puerto Rico.

Ideal Home

Ozzy is a young puppy who loves to play and explore. He's socialized with other puppies and enjoys interacting with people.

Ongoing Health

Ozzy has received his first two DAPPv+L4 puppy vaccinations and has been dewormed. He's also up-to-date on flea and tick preventative.

Training & Support

As a puppy, Ozzy is still learning everything that comes with being a dog. He is eager to bond and learn, so consistent training and positive reinforcement will help him thrive.

Transportation

Ozzy is currently in Puerto Rico. He will be arriving in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on May 11, 2026, and will be available for pickup at the airport. Transportation to your home is arranged through our Flight Angels program, where volunteer travelers bring rescue puppies to meet their adopters at their destination airport. This service is included in the adoption fee.
