Meet Asa! He's a 1-year-old mixed breed boy who has known nothing but love from Saving Hope since he was just a few days old. He's a total sweetheart who is calm, snuggly, well-mannered, and eager to please in a home environment. Asa bonds closely with his people and listens well, taking correction nicely. He loves to play and settles quickly.

Ideal Home

Asa would thrive in a quiet home with a secure yard. He prefers older children, as younger kids tend to move too quickly for his comfort. He would be fine as the only dog in the house.

Ongoing Health

Asa has been neutered and is up-to-date with all his vaccines.

Training & Support

Asa is crate and house trained. He listens well and takes correction nicely. He does have reactions to fast-moving things like cars and dogs through fences. An experienced handler is recommended to help him feel safe and set him up for success.
