Gingersnap

Gingersnap is a 9-year-old, 9lb Pekingese mix with a spunky and adorable personality. She was found as a stray in Houston and has clearly had puppies in her past. She's a friendly, confident, low-to-medium energy girl who enjoys playing with other dogs, especially younger pups her size. Gingersnap is potty trained, crate trained, great in the car, and good on leash. She loves her walks and occasional zoomies. While she's generally great with handling, she can be startled and may let out a little shriek, though she's becoming less startled as she gets used to her foster home.

Ideal Home

Gingersnap would thrive in a home with another very playful small dog. She's a confident girl who would do well in various home environments. However, due to her tendency to be startled, a home without young children would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Gingersnap is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and will be ready for her forever home in September.

Training & Support

Gingersnap is potty trained and crate trained. Her adopter should be willing to continue basic command training for her safety. She has shown no separation anxiety.

Transporation

All our dogs are fostered in Houston, TX. However, we work with trusted transport partners to transport our dogs to over 30 cities in the United States. Adopters are also encouraged to pick up their pup directly from Houston. Once an adoption is confirmed, our team will work with you to determine the best transport schedule.
