Toad

Meet Toad! This 1.9-year-old mixed breed, with a dash of herding dog and terrier, is overflowing with personality and affection. He arrived as a stray puppy from rural Texas in January 2024 and has been patiently waiting for his forever family.

Toad is a delightful mix of mischief and cuddles, easily recognizable by his unique "reverse Guernsey cow" coat. He believes affection is an Olympic sport and is always ready for a snuggle session, especially when curling up in a cozy bed at night. While he can get a bit lonely when left alone, he truly shines when he's part of the family action. When he's not showering you with love, Toad is a zoomie enthusiast, turning any yard into his personal racetrack, especially with a canine companion by his side.

Ideal Home

Toad would thrive in a home that cherishes snuggles, has ample space for zoomies, and ideally, a playful dog friend to romp with. Due to his herding mix and energy levels, apartments are not a good fit for Toad at this time. He will need a securely fenced yard and a family with breed experience who can provide him time to decompress in his new environment. A home without cats is preferable as he has not been cat tested.

Ongoing Health

Toad is up-to-date on core vaccinations and has been heartworm tested. He has been microchipped with registration.

Training & Support

Toad is a happy, energetic pup who loves to be involved. He enjoys playtime and cuddles, and with a patient and understanding family, he will continue to blossom.
