Dumpling

Dumpling is a sweet senior girl, around 8 years young and weighing about 70 lbs, who is dreaming of a cozy couch and a human to share movie nights with. She came to us as a stray, so we don't have a history for her, but we've learned that she absolutely loves toys, plush beds, and tasty snacks! Dumpling knows some basic commands and walks nicely on leash. She can be a bit particular with other dogs, so any potential canine housemates will need a proper meet-and-greet to ensure they're a good fit. We are unsure how she would do with cats or children. While she may do best as the sole furry friend in the household, we are open to meet-and-greets, as shelter environments can sometimes make dogs react differently than they might in a home setting.

Ideal Home

Dumpling would love a comfy couch to call her own and a patient owner who can help her continue to build confidence around other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Dumpling will be spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and microchipped before going to her new home.

Training & Support

Dumpling walks decently on leash and knows some commands. She can be reactive to some dogs, so continued positive reinforcement and careful introductions will be key.
