Meet Buzz Basil Toy Story!

Buzz is a tiny puppy, estimated to be about 1 month old. While we think he might be a German Shepherd and Jack Russell Terrier mix, his exact breed is a fun mystery! He's got a handsome black-and-brown coat with a cute white chest, soulful puppy eyes, and a sweet face that makes him look like a little woodland creature who hopped out of a toy box. He's small enough to fit in your hands right now, but his cuteness is already larger than life!

Buzz is currently living his best puppy life in a foster home with dogs, cats, and children of all ages. He's getting tons of cuddles, puppy pile naps, and exciting new experiences that are helping him grow into a confident and well-rounded companion. His main jobs right now include wrestling with his siblings, exploring new smells, mastering the art of the puppy nap, and looking incredibly cute while doing it all! He's already dreaming of becoming someone's hiking buddy, couch companion, and best friend.

Buzz will thrive in a home that is committed to providing him with plenty of training, socialization, patience, and consistency. He's growing up in a busy, social environment, so he's well on his way to being a confident pup.

Buzz is a young puppy and as such, will need routine veterinary care as he grows.

Training & Support

Like all young puppies, Buzz will need a family committed to training, socialization, patience, and consistency. We require adopters to begin crate training immediately to support potty training, confidence building, and healthy routines from the start. Our team works with trainers to provide individualized behavior plans, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking, to help prepare dogs for their future families.

• Before your adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call.
• The adoption fee is $1200. This includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship).
• *Due to rising transportation costs, a $87 surcharge applies.

Transporation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travel safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick up is in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT. You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page! Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
