Denali- $70 Adoption Fee!

Meet Denali, a handsome low-rider with a big personality and an even bigger heart! At approximately 9 months old, he may be a Basset Hound mix with a larger working breed such as an Anatolian Shepherd or Black Mouth Cur. He is expected to weigh around 45–50 pounds as an adult.

Denali loves fetch, squeaky toys, running in the yard, and being involved with his people. He is affectionate, loyal, playful, and happiest when following his humans around or curling up beside them on the couch.

Denali is currently fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. His regular adoption fee is $275, with a sponsored campaign fee of $70 from September 18–30.

Ideal Home

Denali gets along with dogs and children, but he can occasionally be fear-reactive and may stand his ground if challenged by another dog. He would do best with mellow, respectful canine companions and adopters who are comfortable managing introductions and continuing positive training.

A calm, structured home would help Denali continue building confidence. Experience with larger working breeds is helpful but not required.

Ongoing Health

Denali is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm negative, current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for ailments identified during veterinary examination.

Training & Support

Denali responds well to correction, is eager to please, and has made tremendous progress in a short time. With patience, consistency, and love, he can continue developing into a wonderful loyal companion.
