Meet Rock!
Rock is a charming 1-year-old male pup, weighing around 42 lbs, who embodies a perfect blend of loyalty, intelligence, and an easygoing nature. He absolutely adores being around people and gets along wonderfully with adults, children, and other dogs. Rock has already mastered crucial skills like leash training, crate training, and is house-trained, even knowing how to signal when he needs to go outside, making him a fantastic companion for both home life and daily walks. Although he can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, Rock quickly blossoms into the most affectionate and devoted friend once he feels comfortable. Despite a past of being abandoned, his spirit remains gentle and full of love, and he's eager to find his forever home.
Ideal Home
Rock would thrive in a home with owners who are actively involved in outdoor activities and enjoy an active lifestyle. He would also do best in a home with owners who have experience with dog behavior and training, and who possess a high level of patience and tolerance for rescued puppies.
Ongoing Health
Rock has received a comprehensive health protocol including spay/neuter, DHPPI vaccine, Rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, a negative heartworm test, and a health certificate.
Training & Support
While Rock is house-trained, the listing notes that it is impossible for them to house-train every foster pet. Owners should be prepared for potential continued training in this area. Due to his past abandonment, Rock can be a little nervous when meeting new people and may need ongoing support to build confidence.
