Copper

Copper is a 6-year-old red dachshund with a shy and timid personality. While he can be a little shadow once he trusts you, he is still working on his fear of strangers and may snap. Because of this, he needs a patient and experienced dachshund home that will allow him to settle in at his own pace, and we recommend a home with no children or only older children. Copper is also protective of his foster dad and will need to be the only dog in the home.
