Georgia

Georgia is smart, spirited, and full of personality! This sweet girl is housebroken, crate trained, and happiest when she has a routine, good walks, and her people close by. She's a total cuddle bug who loves naps, curling up under a blanket, and chewing on her toys. You can often find her on the couch, keeping a watchful eye on the yard for squirrels, rabbits, birds, and any delivery vehicles that dare to get too close! Georgia has recently discovered the joys of fetch and keep-away, walks great on a leash, and loves to run. She loves with her whole heart, and for the right person, she will be completely devoted.

Ideal Home

Georgia would thrive in a home where she can have a routine and plenty of good walks. A fenced yard would be a dream for her to safely explore and run. She does well with other dogs but likes to be in charge, so she'd do best as an only dog or with a laid-back companion who doesn't mind her taking the lead. She is protective of her home and wary of strangers, and she's vocal about it. Therefore, a cat-free home and no small children are recommended.

Georgia currently requires sedation for nail trims.

Training & Support

Georgia is wary of strangers and can be vocal about doorbells, loud noises, and vacuums. She'll need a patient adopter willing to keep building her confidence and help her feel more comfortable with new things.
