Bear

Bear is a wonderfully special pup who is about 8 years young and weighs 55 lbs. He's a shy boy who may always have a timid personality due to his early life experiences and lack of proper socialization. Bear needs a patient owner who understands and can help a dog with fear issues around new people. He does form strong bonds with his people, as he has with his foster mom, but it can take him some time to warm up. He's a homebody who loves to play in his own securely fenced yard and he absolutely adores other dogs! Bear would be a fantastic companion for another canine friend and for someone who enjoys a calm lifestyle.

Ideal Home

Bear would do best in a home with older, calm children and would love to have another dog companion. He would be too fearful of young children, but could befriend a teenager with a sweet nature. He enjoys his securely fenced yard.

Bear is already potty trained, leash trained, and crate trained. He is a homebody who may always have a timid personality and needs an owner with lots of patience to help him with his fear issues around new people.
