Meet Atlas! He's a 1½-year-old, 70 lb Husky with movie-star looks and the sweetest personality to match. Don’t let his size fool you… this boy is a total softie who just wants love, snacks, and a family to call his own. Atlas’s story didn’t start out easy. He was dumped with two other adult huskies and numerous puppies in rural Royal City, WA. But through it all, Atlas has shown nothing but resilience, kindness, and a gentle heart. Now he’s ready to leave the past behind and find his forever home. He knows "sit" and "down," walks well on leash, and has a great foundation for recall. He is house-trained and is working on crate training. Atlas is great with dogs of all sizes and good with kids. He ignores outside kitties and respects fences and boundaries. He LOVES people and will do anything for a snack!

Atlas would thrive with an active individual or family looking for a loyal adventure buddy by day and a calm, loving companion by night.

Ongoing Health

Atlas is currently working through mild food resource guarding, which is not uncommon for dogs who have experienced abandonment. This is already being addressed in training and is expected to continue improving with time, patience, and commitment from his future family. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and his parvo vaccinations are current.
