Malibu

Malibu is a handsome, approximately 4-year-old boy with a heart full of love to give. He experienced hardship before finding his way to us, having been found as a stray and without a microchip. Despite his past, Malibu is now fully vetted and on the road to recovery from heartworm. He has received his ProHeart 12 injection and is currently undergoing a 30-day course of doxycycline as part of his treatment. Malibu is playful, sweet, and incredibly affectionate. Once he feels settled, he has a calm and gentle demeanor, but his joy for life and his second chance truly shines through.

Ideal Home

Malibu would thrive in a home where he can continue to feel safe and loved. He gets along well with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Malibu is heartworm positive but is currently undergoing treatment with a slow-kill protocol. He has received his ProHeart 12 injection and is completing a 30-day course of doxycycline.

Training & Support

Malibu is not yet house-trained. Continued patience and positive reinforcement will help him succeed.
