Meet Grace! This sweet and bubbly girl is a 35 lb Cattle dog/Staffy/Vizsla mix with an estimated birthday of July 1st, 2023. Grace had a tough start to life, being rescued as a stray with her puppies who she was raising under a fallen tree in the hot Texas summer. Thankfully, a kind street dog feeder spotted her and her adorable pups and brought them to the rescue. Grace has quickly made friends with everyone, both two-legged and four-legged, and loves to play! She's a big fan of squeaky toys, cuddling with her doggy pals, and having zoomies in the courtyard.
Ideal Home
Grace is a herding breed at heart and loves to be with her people. She thrives when she's part of a group and will affectionately "herd" anyone who tries to wander off. She would do best in a home with experienced handlers who understand herding dog breeds.

- Transport is included in the adoption fee. Please note that pick-up locations for transported dogs may vary and could include a nearby state.
- We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
- Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.
- Listed breed is based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
- Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
- All of our adopters are invited to join our Alum Pupdates Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
