Smokey is a 2-year-old male Cane Corso / Weimaraner mix who weighs 60 pounds and is ready to find his forever family! He was found as a stray and has since been fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. Smokey has a low to moderate energy level; he enjoys playing with other dogs and cuddling up on the couch. He's a super sweet, smart, and kind-hearted boy who is eager to give and receive love and attention. Smokey is submissive and affectionate, making him a wonderful and gentle companion.
Ideal Home
Smokey would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, as he enjoys playing chase with other dogs. He would prefer a home without cats. Due to his shyness with new people, he would do best in a low-traffic home. He would also love a home with a doggie companion, as he enjoys playing with other dogs.
Ongoing Health
Smokey is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Smokey is fully potty trained and walks well on a leash, though he may pull slightly when initially excited. He can be a little nervous around strangers and may bark out of excitement, but he is easily redirected. Smokey is not a fan of crates and prefers not to be shut inside them. He does experience some separation anxiety and will cry when left alone, but he does not tear up anything and eventually settles down. He would do best with someone who works from home or is only away for a few hours a day.
