Poncho

Meet the gorgeous Poncho, a 2-year-old, 17-pound Pomsky looking for his happily ever after! This sweet boy was used strictly for breeding and lived in a rabbit hutch his whole life, so the world scares him. He is learning that humans are for love and scratches, while enjoying his freedom of playing with other dogs and toys in the yard. He is super sweet and will thrive in the right home with other dogs. He tends to seek out human females in the home, but can live with men; he just doesn't quite accept attention from the man of the house yet, though he is curious. Won't you give this beautiful boy a shot at the good life?

Ideal Home

Poncho will need a committed home that is patient while he adjusts. He will need a fenced yard as he doesn't know what a leash is yet, but this guy is smart and will learn with time.

Ongoing Health

Poncho is on an anxiety medication that we hope won't be needed forever, but it has helped him overcome so many fears that it does need to be continued until he is fully adjusted to a new home. The adoption donation includes core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), Accuplex (Heart worm and Lyme test), fecal, microchip, bloodwork, and neuter.

Training & Support

Poncho is house trained with regular potty breaks, but accidents can still happen as he is still learning. He is smart and will learn to walk on a leash with time.
