Coal is a handsome 2–3-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who weighs about 57 lbs. He came to us as a stray and has been patiently waiting for his forever home since October 2024. Coal is a well-behaved boy who walks nicely on a leash and is a favorite among volunteers. He is very treat-motivated, which makes him a joy to train! Coal would thrive in a calm and steady home where his loyal and gentle nature can be appreciated.

Ideal Home

Coal would be happiest as the only pet in the home, as he prefers not to socialize with other dogs and has not tested well with cats.

Ongoing Health

Coal is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Coal can walk past other dogs if reminded to "leave it," but he really prefers not to socialize.
