Gus

Gus is a sweet Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix puppy with a gentle nature that truly shines once he feels comfortable. He can be a little shy at first, so a patient and understanding home will help him blossom. Gus is already crate trained and has never had an accident indoors, and he's making great progress with his leash training. Like many puppies, Gus is still learning his manners and may bark at new people or dogs. He loves to chew, so plenty of appropriate toys and supervision will be beneficial as he grows. Gus enjoys playing with the senior dogs in his foster home but should be supervised as his puppy energy can sometimes be a bit much for them. While he hasn't been around children, his foster believes he would do well with them. Gus has a healthy appetite and is up to date on vaccinations, with two rounds remaining. He will be neutered when he is old enough.
