Dixie Girl

Dixie Girl is a 10-year-old Anatolian Shepherd–Golden Retriever mix with a heart of gold. Her world was turned upside down when her previous owner had to surrender her due to homelessness, but despite this upheaval, she remains a happy, go-with-the-flow kind of girl. Dixie absolutely adores people, especially children, and would love to be a part of a stable, loving home once again. She's a well-mannered companion who loves car rides and treats, and she's already housebroken and walks beautifully on a leash. Dixie is fully vetted and ready for her second chance at happiness.

Ideal Home

Dixie would thrive in a home filled with love and stability where she can be around her favorite people. She is not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is a must.

Dixie is fully vetted and has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Dixie is housebroken and walks beautifully on a leash. She has great manners and has done well with some dogs, but she can be selective. A meet and greet with any resident dogs is required to ensure a good match.
