Laverne Shotz

Laverne is a tiny, approximately 9-week-old (as of 7/2/2026) bundle of joy weighing in at a petite 3.1 pounds (as of 6/20/2026). We believe she might be a chiweenie mix, and she's already spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Laverne and her sister, Shirley, come from a busy foster home filled with an adult couple, three children, five dogs, and four cats, where they've learned to be calm and social in new environments. Laverne is an affectionate, even-tempered, intelligent, and playful pup who loves a good game of chase with her canine pals or enjoys her chew toys. When it's time to wind down, she's a champion cuddler and loves napping on the sofa with her people.

Ideal Home

Laverne is looking for a family ready to commit to the rewarding work of raising a puppy. She has a lot to learn, including house training, crate training, and leash walking, and would thrive with a family who has the time, energy, and patience to guide her. We strongly recommend obedience classes to help build her confidence, socialize her, and strengthen the bond between you.

Ongoing Health

Laverne is up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm preventative, and is microchipped. She has been spayed.

Training & Support

As a young puppy, Laverne will need consistent house training, crate training, and leash walking practice. We highly recommend enrolling in obedience classes to help her learn commands, build confidence, and socialize her with other dogs and people.
