Meet Stella!

Stella is a gentle, sweet, and wonderfully soft-natured 5-year-old who weighs just 26 pounds. She's happiest spending her days playing with her foster siblings, carrying around toys, or simply relaxing near the people she trusts. Stella can be a little shy when meeting new people, often peeking out from behind her foster mom's legs until she feels safe. She's affectionate in her own quiet way, more like a cat than a Velcro dog, and when she decides she'd like some love, she'll softly place a paw on you to ask for attention. Some dogs make themselves known immediately; Stella is different – she's the kind you fall in love with more and more every single day.

Ideal Home

Stella would thrive in a calm home with a fenced yard and possibly a friendly furry sibling to help her continue blossoming. Car rides and leash walks can still feel a little overwhelming for Stella, but her confidence grows more and more when she has another dog by her side.

Ongoing Health

Stella is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and is current on recommended preventions. She has been spayed and microchipped.

Training & Support

Stella can be a little shy when meeting new people and may find car rides and leash walks overwhelming. Having a confident dog companion can help her feel more secure.
