About Sherman the Shepherd

Meet Sherman! This handsome 3-year-old German Shepherd has a big smile, expressive ears, and a heart that's worth getting to know. At first, Sherman can be a little shy with new people and may bark when he's unsure. He's not trying to be tough – he just likes a little time to figure things out. Once he realizes you're a friend, his sweet and loyal side starts to shine through. This 78-pound boy is crate trained, potty trained, heartworm negative, and already microchipped. He gets along with other dogs but prefers slow, respectful introductions. Sherman would do best in a home without cats and is scheduled to be neutered soon. Sherman isn't looking for someone perfect – just someone patient, kind, and willing to let him settle in at his own pace. In return, you'll get a devoted companion who's happy just being by your side. If you're looking for a best friend and don't mind taking things slow at first, Sherman is ready to meet you!
