Buddy

Meet Buddy, a 10-pound sweetheart with a heart as big as his journey. He was found in Cleveland, Texas, after being hit by a car, and his recovery required extensive surgery with lots of care and devotion from our team of volunteers and community partners. This brave little pup never gave up, and today, he’s fully healed and thriving—just waiting for his forever home. At around 2 years old, Buddy is the ultimate lap dog—affectionate, gentle, and always ready for snuggles. Buddy’s story is one of true resilience. He’s heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, neutered, and both crate and house trained. His easygoing nature and sweet demeanor make him a wonderful fit for many types of households. Buddy absolutely loves carrying his stuffed toys around, soaking up attention, and being as close to his humans as possible. Whether it’s curling up for a nap or quietly tagging along through your daily routine, he’s happiest when he’s near the people he loves.

Ideal Home

Buddy can be a bit cautious around large, high-energy dogs, but he does well with other calm pets and adjusts quickly to new surroundings.

Ongoing Health

Buddy is heartworm negative and has been neutered. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and preventatives.

Training & Support

Buddy is crate trained and house trained. He enjoys carrying his stuffed toys and soaking up attention.
