Pit Bull Terrier

Aria is a approximately 2.5-year-old, 40-pound Pit Bull Terrier mix with a stunning bi-color coat and captivating eyes. She's a medium-sized gal who's as intelligent as she is beautiful. Aria is a true "dog's dog" and absolutely thrives in the company of other canine friends. She's currently in a foster home with many dogs of various shapes and sizes, and she adores them all, especially those with a similar play style. Aria has a wonderful "big sister" mentality, often showing younger dogs the ropes and even grooming her foster siblings' ears. She's incredibly endearing and caring. Aria is highly treat-motivated and attuned to her people, making her a joy to train. She already knows "Sit" and "Come," and loves a good Kong filled with a yummy treat. She's also a generous soul, always happy to share her food, treats, and toys. Aria's favorite toy is a little orange ball, and she's always ready for a game of fetch. While she enjoys a good chew on rubber toys, she's also content to entertain herself in the yard. She's an independent girl, not overly needy, but incredibly affectionate and will shower you with kisses to show her love. Aria enjoys her daily walks and is currently working on her leash manners.

Ideal Home

Aria would thrive in a calm home with at least one other dog of similar size and play style. A couple looking for devoted furry companions would be her perfect match. A home with a yard is ideal for her to explore and enjoy her zoomy moments. She would also be content in a quiet neighborhood or even the countryside, as long as there's a secure fence.

Ongoing Health

Aria is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and has been spayed and microchipped.

Training & Support

Aria is working on her leash manners and general obedience. Her forever family should have experience with dog handling to continue her training journey. She can be vocal when alerting to new arrivals or packages.

Transporation

Aria is available for adoption in NV, MT, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and the East Coast. PNW adoptions are transported via a USDA licensed semi-truck with air conditioning and dedicated staff. East Coast adoptions will travel in a private, air-conditioned 3LP-run van. You can follow your pet's journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you can connect with other adopters and receive updates.
