Cat

Meet Cat! Cat is an estimated 7-year old, 82lb, female German Shepherd with a heart of gold. She forms deep bonds with her people and, like many shepherds, can be a little reserved when meeting new people. Give her a few days to settle in, and you'll have a loyal companion for life. Cat is currently thriving in her foster home! With slow, proper introductions, she does wonderfully with both cats and friendly dogs of all sizes. She happily coexists with the smaller dogs in her foster home and loves to play and wrestle with the larger ones. She also loves toys and is the queen of fetch! This smart girl is crate trained, potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, enjoys car rides, and loves spending time with her people. She isn't destructive but is clever enough to open simple gate latches with her nose if it means being closer to her humans. She also enjoys snuggling on the bed but is equally happy sleeping in her own dog bed.

Ideal Home

Cat does wonderfully with both cats and friendly dogs of all sizes. She enjoys playing and wrestling with larger dogs and coexists happily with smaller ones.

Ongoing Health

Cat does have a chicken allergy, but it is easily managed with the many chicken-free food and treat options available. She's currently doing great on a fish-based diet.

Training & Support

This smart girl is crate trained, potty trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. She isn't destructive but is clever enough to open simple gate latches with her nose if it means being closer to her humans.
