At 3 years old and a whopping 65 pounds of lean muscle, Hugo is fairly tall for a Lab and built for action. If there’s a puddle, pond, hose, or lake nearby, this water-loving boy will find it in seconds. Hugo is a very highly active Lab who thrives when he has a job to do or training to focus his big, athletic energy. Structure, enrichment, and consistency help him shine, and he’s eager to learn when given direction. At just one year old, Hugo was heartbreakingly labeled “too crazy” and abandoned—when in reality, he was simply a young puppy full of life. Now older and more mature, he’s looking for a family willing to teach him the ways of being a well-mannered house dog and give him the stability he missed early on. With patience, outlets for his energy, and plenty of water adventures, Hugo will grow into an incredible companion—loyal, joyful, and always ready for the next adventure. Hugo is ready for his second chance, his forever family, and a life filled with love and splashes.

Transporation
Hugo is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, TN & KY, IL, IN, WA, & OH. We do custom transports when needed. Our transport buses are equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick up location to you. The transportation fee ranges $150-500 for those being transported and is $75 for those being picked up at our Angleton, Tx location.
