Mister Foxy is a handsome 2-year-old Shepherd/Lab retriever mix with a beautiful cream coat and a heart full of love to give. He weighs about 46 lbs and is already neutered. Mister Foxy's journey began when he found kindness at a doorstep in Mexico, and from that moment, he chose to stay, hoping for connection and love. Despite his past, his spirit remains untouched, and he's incredibly friendly, affectionate, and trusting. He adores being close to his family, soaking up attention, and simply sharing space with his loved ones.
At home, Mister Foxy is a calm and well-mannered companion. He's fully house-trained, non-destructive, and listens well, responding immediately to commands. He's also very smart and eager to learn, making him a joy to live with. When left alone, he's quiet and content, often choosing to nap peacefully. He enjoys his daily walks and walks beautifully on a leash, staying close by your side. While he has a playful side, he's just as happy being pampered and praised; kind words and affection truly light him up.
Mister Foxy gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a gentle, non-dominant nature. He is good with men, women, and dog-savvy children, as he can be playful and likes to jump up for hugs. He's also curious but respectful of cats. He is not food aggressive and is not a flight risk, though extra caution should always be taken in the beginning. He doesn't bark much, only getting excited when another dog is on the other side of the door, otherwise, he is very calm. He walks on a leash almost perfectly, responding well to voice commands. He is okay with car rides and is not destructive.
Ideal Home
Mister Foxy would prefer a home with a yard, but can possibly live in an apartment. He does not need another dog, but can live with them. He prefers a calm and stable environment, as loud or chaotic settings can make him feel anxious. A peaceful home where he can feel safe and secure would be his ideal match.

Mister Foxy is already house-trained and crate-trained. He is a smart dog who responds well to commands. He is not destructive and doesn't bark excessively.
