Mia is a 3-year-old, 46lb, tri-color, mixed-breed female dog who came to us as a stray. Understandably, the shelter environment has been overwhelming for her, and she initially displayed a high level of fear. With time, patience, and gentle handling, Mia has started to come around and is slowly gaining confidence. She has the potential to blossom into a loving and loyal companion with kindness, consistency, and understanding.
