Luna Mae

Luna Mae is a sweet, gentle 7-year-old schnauzer, weighing around 18 lbs, who is searching for her forever home. She's a loving girl who thrives in a quiet and calm environment and needs a patient family to help her build confidence at her own pace. Luna Mae enjoys playtime with her squeaky toys and chasing tennis balls, but she also cherishes quiet cuddle time with her person.

Ideal Home

Luna Mae would do best in a home without children and prefers to be the only dog. She may be open to sharing her home with another dog if that dog is respectful of her space. A secure, fenced yard is also preferred for her to safely explore and play.

Ongoing Health

Luna Mae underwent successful liver shunt surgery on June 2nd at the University of Wisconsin Veterinary Teaching Hospital and has made a good recovery in her foster home.

Training & Support

While Luna Mae is a well-behaved girl, she is looking for a patient family to help her grow in confidence in her new surroundings.
