Izzie

Izzie is a 5-year-old, 50-pound boxer mix with a truly remarkable story of love and resilience. She was found under a porch with her puppies and was bravely rescued by children who crawled underneath to bring her and her little ones to safety. Since then, Izzie has been a nurturing mama figure to many dogs in our care, always offering her playful energy, but now it's her turn to be cherished!

Ideal Home

Izzie longs for a loving forever family who will let her cuddle in the cool AC, run and play outdoors, and finally enjoy the deep affection she has so generously given to others. She's ready to leave her past behind and start her new life as the beloved companion she was always meant to be.

Ongoing Health

Izzie is healthy and amazing! She has been cured of Chagas and is heartworm and Chagas negative. All age-appropriate vaccines are up to date, and she is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. She has also been spayed and microchipped.

Training & Support

Izzie is playful, affectionate, and loves people. She would happily leap into your arms for cuddles and attention. While she is eager to please and a quick learner, a puppy training class would help her polish her basic commands.
